Chinquapin Trail

Chinquapin Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Santa Cruz, California. It is within Wilder Ranch State Park, Seven Springs Natural Reserve, and West Marshall Field Natural Reserve. It is 3.7 miles long and begins at 829 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 6.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 650 feet. The 156 and 154 parkings and Santa Cruz City Fire Station #4 and another fire station are near the trailhead. There is also parking. Marshall Field and other meadows and the Small Water Tanks water tower can be seen along the trail. Near the end of the trail are benches. This trail connects with the following: Lower Pipe Dream, Swamp Trail, Magic Carpet, Eucalyptus Loop, Crown Nine Path, Seven Springs Trail, Holiday Trail, Woodcutter's Trail, Picnic Loop, Mailboxes, West Road, Rock and Roll, Long Meadow Trail, Meadow Trail, Geoff's Trail, Red Hill Road and Fuel Break Road.
