Any description of Bobs Farm Trail must start with a disclaimer: Do not attempt this route if you don’t like steep trails. Mile for mile and switchback for switchback, this is one of the most difficult hikes in the Trinity Alps. The trail is steep, overgrown in places, and can be avoided by taking a longer, gentler route linking the North Fork and Rattlesnake Trails. Highlights: Guaranteed solitude; chance to link two of the Trinity Alps’ most spectacular destinations.
