Eagle Rock

Warner Springs, California

Eagle Rock Professional Review and Guide

"Eagle Rock, perched on a hill overlooking Warner Springs Ranch, bears a stunning likeness to its namesake raptor. In April, the surrounding meadows explode with wildflowers. A walk along the oak-lined banks of Cañada Verde caps off this magnificent hike."

Fairly easy hike with veiws throughout. 360 degrees at the summit with veiws of the Pacific Ocean on clear days.

This trail affords very beautiful views. On the day we hiked a Santa Ana wind was just beginning which cleared the sky for miles. We could see Table Top in Mexico and except for a slight marine layer we almost could see the ocean. The trail is not difficult. We hiked with our dog and he had no problem negotiating the trail. Enjoy!

This trail has beautiful views. Two pieces of advice: 1. Watch the weather. The portion of the trail along the ridgeline from peak 4588 to Corte Madera is exposed and you don't want to be up there when there is lightning. 2. You can tell that you've found the correct gate where Kernan Road begins because it has a heart painted on it. Enjoy!
