Sonora Pass Waterfalls

Sonora Pass Waterfalls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Winding through the mountains north of Yosemite, Sonora Pass on Highway 108 has the steepest percentage grade of any passage in California. However, if you make the trip, you will find stunning scenery all around you, including the famous Column of the Giants, a geological wonder with 2 miles of basalt columns on either side of the road. You will also find several waterfalls that you can reach with surprisingly little effort. This trail guide contains descriptions of the following trails: Leavitt Falls, Cascade Falls, Sardine Falls, Sardine Creek Falls, Blue Canyon Falls, Deadman Creek Falls, Kennedy Meadow Falls and Niagra Creek Falls."
