Lake Alpine–Silver Valley Trailhead

Lake Alpine–Silver Valley Trailhead Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This exciting route traverses major Sierra ridges along its westward course. As you progress west, the vegetation changes dramatically, with sagebrush and juniper giving way to dense forests of pine and fir. You hike sections of two famous trails along this route: first, a section of the 2600-mile PCT, and second, a section of the 186-mile TYT."
