This hike leads up the west slope of Mineral King Valley to a beautiful subalpine meadow bordered by steep granite walls. The trail passes the Crabtree Cabin ruins, remnants of an 1870s bunkhouse for miners. Throughout the hike are phenomenal views of the surrounding majestic landscape.
