The Sugar Pine Trail connects Moro Rock with Crescent Meadow along the edge of the Middle Fork Kaweah River Canyon. Views extend up and down the canyon, including the sculpted spires of Castle Rocks and the jagged peaks of the Great Western Divide. The path crosses two groups of Indian mortar holes, cone-shaped holes in the rocks formed by Indians grinding acorns and pine nuts into meal.
