Log Meadow Loop

Visalia, California

Log Meadow Loop Professional Review and Guide

"Log Meadow is a lush grassy meadow carpeted with flowers and surrounded by giant sequoias. At the north end of the meadow is Tharp’s Log, a pioneer’s summer home built in a fire-hollowed fallen sequoia. Hale Tharp lived in the hollow log from 1861 to 1890, pasturing his cattle in these meadows. This hike loops around Log Meadow, linking several interconnecting paths."
