Heather Lake

Visalia, California

Heather Lake Professional Review and Guide

"Heather Lake sits in a picturesque, glacially carved alpine cirque tucked against jagged granite cliffs. This hike begins on the Lakes Trail and connects with the Watchtower and Hump Trails, forming a loop. The hike includes The Watchtower, a 1,600-foot granite promontory extending off the south wall of Tokopah Valley, and the Hump, a 9,500-foot saddle to an overlook of Silliman Crest and the dramatic
cliffs at the head of Tokopah Valley."
