Carmel River Trail is a hiking trail in Monterey County, California. It is within Ventana Wilderness. It is 13.6 miles long and begins at 4,549 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 3.3 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,724 feet. The Bear Basin Camp, Carmel River Camp, Buckskin Flat Camp, Sulphur Springs Camp, Historic Bear Basin Camp, and Hiding Canyon Camp sites and the Hiding Canyon can be seen along the trail. There is also a spring along the trail.
