Mongolia Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Mongolia is a complex series of ramparts and cliffs located within Joshua Trees wilderness boundary. If youre looking for moderate, multipitch, bolted face climbs on a sunny, south-facing wall, Mongolias Eastern Siberia cliff is your crag. The routes range from 5.8 to 5.10 and up to three pitches in length. Bring a dozen quickdraws, some slings, and a light rack up to 2 inches. Be prepared to share the crag with others, particularly on weekends. This is a good place to climb during cooler weather. It is sheltered from north winds and gets a lot of sunshine. The area bakes in the sun during warmer conditions. If you climb here, please practice Leave No Trace wilderness ethics, and stay on climbers trails to minimize your impact."
