This area features a great assortment of both crack and face climbs on excellent, featured rock. The Freeway Wall has some excellent moderate crack pitches, and Rock Garden Valley boasts some classic 5.7 to 5.9 face and crack routes. The 400-foot-high Lost Horse Wall has perhaps the finest collection of moderate multi-pitch trad routes in all of Joshua Tree National Park.

Nearby City: Twentynine Palms
Season: Climbing is possible year-round at Joshua Tree, although the prime climbing season is spring and fall. If I had to pick the two best months for reliable, comfortable weather, Id pick April and October.
