Hemlock Campground Professional Review and Guide
"Last time my wife and I came into Hemlock Campground on Medicine Lake, all we could see were black clouds over the mountain, stretching off as far as Washington state, according to the radio weather reports. By the time we reached the lake, the tulle fog was blowing in, with rain not too far behind it. We got our tent up, our gear stowed, the flashlights turned on, and the travel Scrabble game set up before the rain turned to blinding sleet. It blew and blew, then the sleet turned to snow, and we put in earplugs so we wouldn’t hear the flapping of the tent fly. After all that, then it was morning, the sun was blazing off blue Medicine Lake, and the fish were jumping."
