"Redwood National Park & Vicinity’s Humboldt Lagoons State Park encompasses the largest lagoon system in the United States. This hike utilizes two stretches of beach hiking and an intervening forested section on the Sharp Point Trail to make a fine 8-mile, out-and-back hike offering stunning ocean and coastal forest scenery. Wildflower enthusiasts should find plenty to enjoy along the way as well. If a shuttle can be arranged, you can turn this trip into a 4-mile, one-way hike."
