Edna Spaulding Nature Trail - Spaulding Nature Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Named for the science teacher who was its creative inspiration, Edna Spaulding Nature Trail offers a fine introduction to the oak woodland and coastal sage environments found in O’Neill Regional Park. Pick up a copy of the interpretive brochure for this trail at the park office, and then take a delightful and educational walk. In addition to lessons about the region’s natural history, the trail offers something more: great vistas of Orange County’s highest summits, including Santiago Peak and Modjeska Peak, together forming Old Saddleback."

Although this loop is short and good for most families, it has a sustained uphill climb and may be unsuitable for very young children." Read more
