"Crossing the Silliman crest on the boundary between Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks, this trip terminates at picturesque Ranger Lake. En route, the trail passes through fir forests, skirts flowery meadows, traces rambling brooks, and passes between a pair of shallow lakes whose inviting waters tempt dusty hikers."
