North Fork Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This trek brings you to expansive Yucca Flat, then traverses the lower flanks of Yucca Mountain to views of the North Fork of the Kaweah and shady Burnt Point Creek. The trail begins at a footbridge across Yucca Creek, then joins what was an old dirt road on the other side. Pass a park sign just south of a cement slab foundation from when this area was the Grunigen Ranch. The route passes over a small brook running through a culvert and reaches the Yucca Flat Trail at 0.3 mile. Take the right (east) branch and follow this side trail along Yucca Creek, soon passing a small, double waterfall. The footpath ends at two large pines, while the side trail continues on to the center of the fl at at 0.6 mile. A short rock wall lines the southern edge of this grassy expanse as the narrowing trail leads back toward the creek."
