Five Lakes, Little and Big Trail

Five Lakes, Little and Big Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Three passes with unbelievable views and fourteen outstanding lakes make this the kind of hike you do not want to rush through. (Note: This loop is best hiked in a clockwise direction to avoid an exhausting ascent of the sandy west side of Sawtooth Pass.)"

An @$!*%-kicker, but well worth the views. Crowds were not bad, and the views from Black Rock pass are unsurpassed. A little more snow then we expected, so be sure to go late in the summer if they have had a good winter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
