Circle Meadow Professional Review and Guide
"This trek around sequoia-rimmed Circle Meadow is a peaceful extension of the Congress Trail. The trail is away from the crowds and tours some less-visited named trees. Begin this excursion by following the Congress Trail (Hike 13) for 1.5 miles to the five-way junction at the McKinley Tree. Make a sharp left and follow the southbound trail toward Circle Meadow. You first come to the Room Tree, a large, fire-hollowed sequoia that you can enter. Beyond, you reach the Founder’s Group, dedicated to the individuals who helped establish Sequoia National Park."
