Black Wolf Falls Professional Review and Guide
"This unmaintained footpath leads to the base of a beautiful waterfall, as well as to the entrance to an abandoned copper mine.Follow Mineral King Road south from the parking area to a usually dry wash, just beyond the small bridges spanning Monarch Creek. The falls are already visible to your left (east). If the wash has swift moving water flowing in it, save this hike for another day.The unmaintained footpath begins on the north side of the wash and may be tricky to find. If this is the case, walk in the wash until you see traces of foot traffic to your left (north). Then follow the rocky and sometimes dusty path a few hundred feet through the sagebrush and cross the wash. The peak to the northeast, above the falls, is Empire Mountain."
