Follow a segment of the Pacific Crest (PCT ) and Tahoe Rim (TRT ) Trails to the east summit of Twin Peaks, from where hikers experience a fine view of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding terrain. From an open ridge along the Sierra crest, you’ll have additional views into the heart of Granite Chief Wilderness and the peaks of the more distant Desolation Wilderness.
