    "Finding the campground: From Susanville, drive east and then north 50 miles on US 395. Turn right (east) onto Post Camp Road and drive 2 miles.

    About the campground: High-desert camping without much shade, this campground is better in cooler months. Hiking and horseback riding on undeveloped trails, not far from Shinn Peak (7,562 feet). Elevation 5,100 feet. Stay limit 14 days. Open all year."
