Hidden Valley Drive

Hidden Valley Drive Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This high (about 5,000 feet) and remote valley has a large Joshua tree forest, springtime wildflowers and worthwhile side routes to explore. It is cooler than lower Saline, Eureka and Death valleys, and gets more precipitation. The limestone narrows of Lost Burro Gap are scenic, and the remains of Lost Burro Mine echo the valley’s bygone bustle. This drive connects to Racetrack Valley Road and Lippencott Road at the north end, and Saline Valley Road at the south end."
