With four campground loops Letts Lake may at first sound gargantuan. But as it turns out, with only 42 sites total, Letts Lake is rather small. And quiet. It is hard to say why, but even when the campground is more than half full, Letts Lake is very peaceful. During the night, frogs croak around the lake and the wind whispers softly through the pines, and during the day, since motorized vehicles are not permitted on the lake, sounds of the soft splashes of paddles and the whirr of fishing reels barely interrupt the peaceful scene.

campground - hell and gone to get there, but low density, quiet. Nice Marble Mountain Wilderness trail in vicinity once found, but not obvious. River way to cold to swim. Pretty but not much wildlife.
