Rubicon Lake

Rubicon Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The trail to Crag Lake may just whet the appetite of those who want to get past the crowds and set a bivy for a night under the stars. Rubicon ?lls the bill for solitude.

Hike southwest along Meeks Creek, steadily ascending to Genevieve Lake and then Crag Lake. A side trip to Hidden Lake is not unwarranted for those who wish to be, well, hidden. But just a moderate climb past Shadow Lake and Stony Ridge Lake heads you up to the last 500 vertical feet to Rubicon Lake."
