Sequoia National Park Waterfalls Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"As mentioned in the Kings Canyon entry, Sequoia and Kings Canyon are two separate parks, yet they are treated as one. As you move around the eastern part of the region, you will see Mount Whitney towering above. At 14,491 feet above sea level, Whitney is the highest mountain in the contiguous forty-eight states. Unfortunately, it hides behind a mountain chain (The Great Divide) so you cannot view it from the west. This trail guide contains descriptions of the following trails: South Fork Kaweah Falls, Black Wolf Falls, Tufa Falls, Crystal Creek Falls, Franklin Falls, Marble Falls, Panther Creek Falls, East Fork Kaweah Falls, Middle Fork Kaweah Falls, Big Fern Springs, Granite Spring, Pinewood Falls, Cascade Creek Falls, and Tokopah Falls."
