Red Hill Trail Professional Review and Guide
"In 2000, the State acquired the 910-acre Sequeira Ranch, which includes 1062-ft Red Hill. The 2.3-mile hike to the peak through open grassland and occasional forest leads to magnificent views of the coast from Point Reyes to Fort Ross. Follow Pomo Canyon Trail for the first half mile, then take Red Hill Trail to the peak. Complete the loop by continuing along Red Hill Trail until it rejoins Pomo Canyon Trail, which leads you back to Shell Beach. Although this trail starts from Shell Beach, you can also reach the peak from the Pomo Canyon Environmental Camp as described in Trail 8."
