Detailed Trail Descriptions from Our Guidebooks

"This hike forms a loop in the central section of Shiloh Ranch Regional Park. The hike offers a sampling of the park’s natural features—from the shady valley floor to the ridge with panoramic views. The trail begins along the lower hillside slopes through oak groves, then climbs the South Ridge Trail to a vista point with broad vistas of the Mayacamas Mountains, the expansive basin, and the north end of Sonoma County. The hike returns along a ridge with gorgeous views across the Santa Rosa Plain."
