Rimrock Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The Rimrock Trail traverses a hillside ridge high above the Generals Highway past enormous granite rock formations and groves of giant sequoias. The return loop on the Alta Trail begins at Lincoln Tree, the fifth largest tree in the world. The trail passes bedrock mortars, cone-shaped holes in an exposed granite slab formed by Indians grinding acorns and pine nuts from the surrounding trees."
