Berry Falls Loop

Saratoga, California

Berry Falls Loop Professional Review and Guide

"This much-loved trail makes a loop through the heart of Big Basin Redwoods State Park—the oldest of California’s state parks. The path follows the courses of fern-carpeted Berry and West Waddell creeks, where plenty of banana slugs, salamanders, and other slimy critters will keep you company. The highlight of the trail is a series of unusual waterfalls on Berry Creek. Terrain: Dirt path along richly forested hills, dry ridges, and waterfalls."

This is an absolutely stunning trail. The life is spectacular and while the trail is a challenge, it is accessible to anyone in decent shape. A must see!
