    "Finding the campground: From the intersection of US 101 and CA 166 in Santa Maria, drive east 50 miles on CA 166 to Cottonwood Canyon Road (FR 11N01). Turn right and drive 7.5 miles southwest.

    About the campground: Situated at 2,900 feet, the campground provides access to the Sierra Madre and the northern portion of the San Rafael Wilderness. A forest service lookout tower at nearby White Oaks affords a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Stay limit fourteen days. Open all year."
