Rincon Point, part of Carpinteria State Beach, is a popular surfing spot with tidepools and a small bay. The point straddles the Santa Barbara/Ventura County line. Rincon Beach Park is on the west side of the point in Santa Barbara County. The park sits on the steep, forested bluff with eucalypti and Monterey pines. There is a large picnic area, great views of the coastline and a stairway to the 1,200 feet of beach frontage.
