More Mesa is an undeveloped 300-acre oceanfront expanse in Goleta. The flat blufftop mesa is marbled with hiking trails. The main trail follows the edge of the bluffs 200 feet above the ocean. The panoramic views extend from the Santa Ynez Mountains to the Channel Islands. The secluded, mile-long beach at the base of the mesa is clothing optional.

Wonderful ocean views from the bluffs. Wander through high grass and occasional trees. To dedicate More Mesa to permanent recreational use of scenic open space in 1960, the owners of More Mesa asked me to and I did plant all the plants in the big area, not the small area in the north-east corner.
