    Gaviota State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From the intersection of CA 154 and US 101 in Santa Barbara, drive west on US 101 for 27 miles.

About the campground: A small, sandy cove and a 600-foot-long pier provide ocean access in this 2,900-acre park, which is composed mainly of rugged chaparral wilderness. Fire roads and trails through the coastal mountains, such as the 3-mile round-trip Overlook Trail, provide sweeping vistas. Hot Springs Trail leads to two small warm-water pools. Stay limit fourteen days. Open all year."
