Oak Canyon Nature Center Bluebird Lane and Wren Way

Oak Canyon Nature Center: Bluebird Lane and Wren Way Professional Review and Guide

"Shrouded by oak forest and serenaded by a small stream, this family-friendly hike offers a cool escape on a hot and cloudless day. Bordered by a golf course and several upscale gated communities, Oak Canyon Nature Center is a 58- acre park made up of three adjoining canyons that are tucked into the Anaheim Hills.

Some of its hiking trails were damaged by the 2005 rainstorms that ravaged southern California, but the south side of the park remains open. Quails, scrub jays, raccoons, rabbits, and coyotes are among the wildlife that can be found here. Also located on site is an amphitheater and the John J. Collier Interpretive Center, a small museum with wildlife and natural history exhibits. Don’t hesitate to ask the friendly front desk staff to recommend a hike or go over the park’s conditions before hitting the trails."
