"This scenic trail along the bluffs overlooking the Pacific traces the terrestrial boundary of a marine reserve and overlooks the famed Mavericks surf break. To reach the Jean Lauer trailhead from CA 1 in Moss Beach, about 5 miles south of Pacifica and just north of Half Moon Bay, turn west onto Cypress Avenue. Follow Cypress Avenue for 0.2 mile to Airport Street and turn left. Follow Airport Street for 0.8 mile to the trailhead and parking lot on the right. GPS: N37 30.690' / W122 30.063' To go directly to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss Beach, turn right (west) from CA 1 onto California Avenue. Follow California Avenue 0.3 mile to the reserve parking lot at the end of the road at North Lake Street." Read more
