Path of the Padres is a hiking trail in Merced County, California. It is within San Luis Reservoir State Recreational Area. It is 4.8 miles long and begins at 382 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 9.6 miles with a total elevation gain of 130 feet. Near the trailhead there are a pier, restrooms, benches, a bbq, and parking. The Los Banos Reservoir (elevation 384 feet) reservoir can be seen along the trail. There is also a camp site along the trail. The trail ends near the Rope Traversal scree. There is also a wetland near the end of the trail.
