The Quarry and Park Ridge Trails are on the east side of Morro Bay State Park under the shadow of Cerro Cabrillo, a 911-foot double-peaked ridge. The Quarry Trail skirts the southern flank of Cerro Cabrillo past the rubble piles of an abandoned quarry site used for road construction in 1959. The Park Ridge Trail is an old farm road that crosses the rolling grasslands.
