Poly Canyon Road Professional Reviews and Guides

"Poly Canyon Design Village is a collection of artistic, futuristic and sometimes humorous monuments from the architectural and engineering departments of Cal Poly. These monuments are works of art, attractively set among the rolling hills and grassy meadows in Poly Canyon. The experimental housing projects include a geodesic dome, an underground house, a shell house, a stick house, a greenhouse and a cantilevered platform in the shape of a ship bow. The trail to the village parallels Brizziolari Creek up the shady canyon."

"The Poly Canyon Trail follows a ranch road through the pastoral rolling hills alongside Brizziolari Creek behind the Cal Poly campus. The trail winds through the open space and rock outcroppings to the railroad tracks below Cuesta Ridge. The return route follows the north edge of the canyon through beautiful oak groves overlooking the canyon."
