Nice hike along the San Gabriel River. Many stream crossings ankle to knee high. Got a little wet. Rocky terrain mixed with easy trail hiking. Part of the trail is washed away, or so it appears. This made it hard to stay on track. The following Saturday I went back and made the hike without going into the stream. There are rock and log crossings if you pay attention. The bridge itself is a trip. It is in the middle of nowhere. Great time. Oh yea, go early (sunrise) to enjoy the hike to yourself.

Great place to hike with a cool bridge at the end where people bungee jump off of. Most of the trail is easy with a bunch of stream crossings. At times though it seems as though you might be lost, but there isn't really any place to go other than the bridge. You can go past the bridge and continue on the hike for quite a bit. Past the bridge though, the trail narrows and is precarious in spots, but is rather quiet and a great place to set up camp for an overnighter.

This trail can get crowded and parking is hard to find if you get there late. A lot of people panning for gold on this trail too, but a great summer trail since there are plenty of places to take a dip and cool down.
