Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The recreation area includes a group campground (Deer Flat) and three separate family campground loops less than 0.25 mile apart. Six interpretive trails begin near the campgrounds, as does a 1-mile-long trail that circles Crystal Lake. Another trail leads north to intersect the Pacific Crest Trail. Rainbow trout can be caught in Crystal Lake.

Elevation 5,800 feet. Stay limit fourteen days. Open all year for individual campgrounds, May through October for group campground."
