Firebreak is a hiking trail in Los Angeles County, California. It is within San Gabriel Mountains National Monument and Angeles National Forest. It is 5.4 miles long and begins at 4,724 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 1.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,529 feet. The Caltrans Mt. Wilson industrial is near the trailhead. There are also a picnic site and parking. The Firebreak and Firebreak cutlines and Strawberry Peak (elevation 6,142 feet) can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near the Strawberry Peak Trail cutline and Mount Lawlor (elevation 5,928 feet). There is also a reservoir covered near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Colby Canyon Trail, Barley Flats Truck Trail and Strawberry Peak Trail.
