San Bruno Mountain North Loop Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This hike’s three trails show off three different facets of San Bruno Mountain in just under three miles. The Bog Trail eases you into the hike on a narrow dirt path that winds along scrub, shrubs, and trees.
From here, you head to the paved Old Guadalupe Trail, where you’ll ?nd walkers and bikers enjoying the serene shade of eucalyptus trees. And then you meet up with the Saddle Loop, where you’ll spend the majority of this hike. This expansive grassland area with wide trails gives you spectacular views that start at the San Francisco skyline, move down to the peninsula and the bay, and reach the San Bruno Mountain summit."
