What’s not to love about the Coronado Ferry? It is a super-cheap ($4.75 one-way) and convenient way to get from Downtown San Diego to Coronado Island. The ferry ride itself is entertaining as – after all – you’re riding a boat in Southern California, flanked by gorgeous scenery any way you look! Plus, it’s a much faster path to the island than fighting San Diego traffic to drive across the bridge. The ferry lets you off at the island’s tourist hub, so you’ll have easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants, waterfront, and lovely park where free concerts are often played.
