Pacific Crest Trail

Pacific Crest Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in San Bernardino County and Los Angeles County, California. It is within Sheep Mountain Wilderness, San Bernardino National Forest, San Gabriel Mountains National Monument, and Angeles National Forest. It is 38.7 miles long and begins at 3,032 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 78.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 24,016 feet. Mount Hawkins (elevation 8,783 feet), Inspiration Point (elevation 7,333 feet), Mount Baden-Powell (elevation 9,383 feet), and Mount Burnham (elevation 8,990 feet), the Guffy and Blue Ridge Camp sites, Pacific Crest Reservoir (elevation 7,874 feet) and another reservoir, and the Lamel spring can be seen along the trail. There are also woods, restrooms, parkings, drinking water, trees, and parking along the trail. This trail connects with the following: PCT- Section C, Lytle Creek Road, Santa Fe Fire Road, 3n49, Blue Ridge Truck Trail, Pinyon Ridge Truck Trail, Manzanita Trail, Big Rock Creek Road, Sheep Creek Truck Trail and Acorn Trail.
