Mokelumne River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Mokelumne wilderness is quite likely the grandest California wilderness you’ve never heard of. Sandwiched between Hwys. 108 and 4 south of Lake Tahoe, the 105,165-acre wilderness encompasses much of the upper section of the Mokelumne River watershed and protects a land of raw and continuous granite sliced into a canyon more than half a mile deep."
