Dotons Cove Trail

Dotons Cove Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The oak woodland ecology of Folsom Lake frames this short interpretive trail along the shoreline of a relatively isolated bay.

In the height of the summer season, Folsom Lake attracts recreationalists like the bell of an ice-cream truck attracts children. Boaters and swimmers, campers and picnickers, horseback riders and mountain bikers—they all relax and play on the water and along the shoreline, savoring the expansive scenery and whatever is cooking on the outdoor grill."
