We took this trail in the hopes of viewing wild flowers. However, other than the milkmaids and hounds tongue in the shade of the coastal oaks, nothing else was in bloom. While the day was overcast, the views were still very pretty. The path is easy and meanders across the open space. We found some old, skeletal remains of a deer, and surmised it had been the meal of a local mountain lion.
