The route to the park is mostly flat with a gentle hill just before you reach the park. Inside the park, depending on the trails you explore, there are some steep, short hills, but you can avoid them if you wish. A mountain is recommended for riding in the park. For those on road bikes, there is a bike rack next to the parking lot in the park where you can lock your bike while you hike and picnic in the park. Located in Southern Sonoma County.

Crane Creek has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years. I especially love it during Spring when the hills are lush and green and the poppies are everywhere. There's a small creek and beautiful old Oak trees. The trails aren't particularly challenging but it's just lovely. This is a great spot to picnic (there are a few scattered benches and picnic tables). This park is also big with disc golfers.
