Upper Quarry Professional Review and Guide

"Rockville Hills Regional Park stretches across 610 acres of rolling hills on the northwest end of Fairfield. In 1966, the city of Fairfield acquired the open space park. The diverse park includes dense chaparral, grasslands, ridges, slopes, pockmarked volcanic formations, sedimentary cliffs, vista overlooks, a couple of valleys, two lakes, and foothill woodlands dominated by blue oak and buckeye trees. A mosaic of roads and trails, open to bikes and dogs, weaves through the park and Open Space and Solano County. The 360-degree vistas include San Pablo Bay, the Benicia Bridge, San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Tamalpais, Sonoma Mountain, the Mayacamas Range, and the Vaca Mountains."
